Trent-Severn Waterway, Lock 26 – Lakefield

Lock 26 is located at 14 Hill Street in Lakefield, Ontario, and forms part of the 386-kilometre Trent-Severn Waterway National Historic Site managed by Parks Canada. The lockstation provides lockage services for recreational boaters and paddlers travelling between Lake Ontario and Georgian Bay, along with overnight mooring, shore power, camping, and other visitor amenities. The site is situated within a ten-minute walk of downtown Lakefield, a community with tourism services and historical literary connections. Ample mooring space is available on the upper side of the lock, and the station operates seasonally from approximately mid-May to mid-October.
