The Peterborough Lift Lock (Lock 21) is a hydraulic lift lock located at 354 Hunter Street East in Peterborough, Ontario, part of the 386 km Trent-Severn Waterway connecting Lake Ontario to Georgian Bay. Opened on July 9, 1904, it provides a lift of approximately 19.8 metres (65 feet) and is recognized as a National Historic Site of Canada. The lock offers overnight mooring at the upper level, a paddle dock, washrooms, potable water, and a picnic area, with additional services available within a short walk to the East City area of Peterborough. A visitor centre at the site, operated by the City of Peterborough, is scheduled to open in June 2026.
