About

Selwyn Beach Conservation Area is situated on the northeast shore of Chemong Lake, part of the Kawartha Lakes and Trent Severn Waterway. It is managed by Otonabee Conservation and is free to enter. The area features a gently sloping sandy beach for swimming, a boat launch and docking facility, a large picnic shelter, group camping area, and approximately 3 kilometres of hiking trails through diverse habitats. The site provides access to Chemong Lake for boating and shoreline fishing, with species such as perch, sunfish, and smallmouth bass present. Accessible washrooms are available near the beach. The picnic shelter can be reserved through Warsaw Caves Conservation Area, with bookings available from May to October.
