About

Scugog Shores Museum Village and Archives is situated at 16210 Island Road on Scugog Island, overlooking the town of Port Perry and Lake Scugog. The site features 11 restored heritage buildings, heritage gardens, and Ojibway Heritage Interpretive Lands that together depict daily life in the Scugog area from the mid-1800s to mid-1900s. The museum offers guided tours, education programs, outreach, and special events throughout the year. It also serves as the summer home of Theatre on the Ridge and makes its grounds and buildings available for rentals including photography, wedding receptions, and special events.
