Imagine the Marsh Conservation Area sits on Katchewanooka Lake in Lakefield, Ontario and is designated a Provincially Significant Wetland. The site was acquired through contributions from local citizens, the Imagine the Marsh Committee, and the Otonabee Region Conservation Foundation. Visitors can explore a 100-metre hiking trail that connects to the Lakefield Trail System, read interpretive signage about shoreline habitat, and view the surrounding wetland from a two-level observation tower. Canoeing and kayaking on Katchewanooka Lake and the Otonabee River are also possible, with rentals available at the nearby Lakefield Campground.
