Hinterland Growers is a 10-acre organic farm situated one minute south of Port Perry, Ontario, operated by the Loback family since 2016. The farm uses bio-intensive, polyculture growing methods including raised beds, composting, companion planting, and minimum tillage, with no chemical pesticides, fertilizers, or GMO seeds. The on-site farm store sells a wide variety of organically grown vegetables, preserves, fermented hot sauces, free-range eggs, and pasture-raised chickens, alongside products from local artisan producers. The farm is approximately 15 minutes from Brooklin and North Oshawa and 20 minutes from Whitby and Uxbridge.
