About

Halibut House Fish and Chips is a Canadian seafood restaurant franchise that originated in Port Perry, Ontario in 2004, founded by a couple who built the business from a single family-run location into one of Ontario's larger fish and chips restaurant chains. The restaurants feature open-concept dining rooms and serve dine-in and takeout meals made with sustainably caught fish and hand-cut Ontario fries. The menu centres on halibut, haddock, and cod dishes served with chips, along with appetizers, burgers, chicken, salads, and other non-fish options. Gluten-friendly grilled items are available, and the chain also offers catering through a mobile food truck service called Halibut House on Wheels. Locations are spread across numerous cities and towns throughout Ontario.
